Our QuickBooks Business Champion for

October is JGD Pallets based in Durban.

Business-champion

JGD Pallets, owned by Shaveer Ramcharan, specialises in the manufacture of pallets, which are utilised in shipping and distribution.  They pride themselves on offering the most competitive pricing and highest quality in customer service.  The business has been in operation for 10 years, but in more recent times invested in it’s own mill, giving them the opportunity to ensure the best quality products at affordable prices for their customers.

Mike Naguran, who runs the accounts for the company only made the transition to using QuickBooks in August of 2013 after years of using other products. When asked about his QuickBooks experience, he exuberantly replied, “I LOVE QUICKBOOKS!  It is unlike any other software programme that I have ever used.” Mike has worked on accounts for the past 45 years and always used other packages.  A colleague tried to convert him to QuickBooks a number of years ago and his response was that the software he was using was good and he had lots of experience with it, so he resisted.  Now, he is a complete QuickBooks convert.  “QuickBooks is so easy to learn and it really didn’t take me long to be a pro on the system.  These are just some of the benefits, along with its incredibly clean reporting.  I wish I had made the change years ago.”
