QuickBooks Business Champion December 2014

Our QuickBooks Business Champion for November is The Orchard.

Based in the Eastern Cape, this family-owned and managed business was started by Carolyn Muir in 2010 and specialises in an avocado-ripening programme. The Orchard’s primary offering is their expertise in avocados, but they also work with kiwi and coconut, providing these fruits all year round. They are a supplier to restaurants, hotels, BnB’s, retail stores, catering companies and other fresh produce supply chains with a focus on the Greater PE Area, Uitenhage, Kenton-on-Sea, Port Alfred, East London, Grahamstown, Humansdorp and Jeffreys Bay.

When asked about her QuickBooks experience, Carolyn commented, “QuickBooks has been great.  It is easy to learn, easy to use and the technical support offered is efficient and friendly.  Even our admin staff with limited knowledge about bookkeeping and accounting managed to learn how to use the software with very little training.  Having a good, solid accounting package like QuickBooks has certainly made the process of building our business a far easier one”.

For more information on The Orchard or to contact them, go to www.theorchardsa.co.za, e-mail info@theorchardsa.co.za or call Carolyn or Jason Muir on 041-368 6661.

QuickBooks Business Champions is a way for our customers to get some free promotion.  Just tell us what you business does, how it has grown and how QuickBooks has contributed to it’s success.  Email annie.fyfe-hitchings@easybiztech.co.za with you story and we’ll add it to our league of QuickBooks Business Champions.
