QuickBooks Business Champion – January/February 2015

This month’s QuickBooks Champion is AE Manufacturing which was established in 2006. It is a family-owned concern that is run by the three Els brothers, Andrio, Jaco and Nico. AE Manufacturing provides superior engineering solutions at competitive prices to industrial, automotive and commercial industries. The specialized services offered by the company are vast and range from designing, machining, pressure testing, specialized tooling and repairs to pipeline installations and sheet metal work. Their highly trained staff consists of toolmakers, machinists, apprentices, sheet metal workers, coded welders and spray painters.

Since its inception in 2006, AE Manufacturing has only had one goal, to provide products and services of the utmost quality. Says Nico Els, “Good quality levels promote customer satisfaction and also improve productivity and reduce both internal and external cost that can be passed on to our clients”. This, they believe has ensured their on-going success in a very competitive manufacturing market.

Although AE Manufacturing is only 9 years old, Nico Els, the brother in charge of the financial side of the business has been using QuickBooks Accounting Software for the last 15 years. When asked his views on QuickBooks, he responded, “I refuse to use any other accounting software. QuickBooks is easy, user-friendly and you can always go back to fix a problem. I use pretty much every module on offer and the software has proved itself to be incredibly suitable for the motor manufacturing industry that we are in. I just love it”.
