Business Champion – May 2015

This month’s QuickBooks Business Champion is Technique Shopfitters. The Durban-based shopfitting company was established in 1990 by Roy Singh, and celebrates its 25th year of business in 2015.

Technique Shopfitters is currently run by Khoosial Singh, catering to all client shopfitting needs, from design to development, and everything in between. They also provide a number of speciality services, such as setting up aluminium shop fronts, doors, suspended ceilings, drywall and demountable partitions. They even install kitchen and other built-in cupboards.

As a testament to their expertise, they have an incredible list of prominent clients, which includes the University of KwaZulu-Natal, KFC and Absa Bank.

Technique Shopfitters have been using QuickBooks Accounting Software for about 5 years. When asked about their experience with the product, Khoosial Singh commented, “QuickBooks is just so easy to use. We have never had any issues. It makes batch entries so much easier and invoicing is simple. We do a lot of estimates and when it comes to invoicing time, the system picks up any discrepancies that may exist saving us valuable time.”
